25 Days of Christmas Days 19-15

Day 19- Dec 6

We got home from my parents house with the first real snow of the season. It's really not December without snow. Or Christmas for that matter.

We watched:

Oh, and what is Christmas without Egg Nog?

Day 18- Dec 7

Fred, Laura, Char, Aiden Tyler and I went to a live nativity put on by one of the wards in American Fork. You start around the fire, they take you around in groups, you go to different locations and finally the end is baby Jesus in a manger. It was freezing. But we did get Hot chocolate.

Here is Aiden and I after the Nativity. Don't worry about the hot chocolate on Aiden's face. And- he lost is two bottom teeth. I remember those days.

Day 17- Dec 8
Central Utah Clinic Christmas Party. We went to Carraba's and we all exchanged gifts. Jan got me the cutest measuring spoons. They have cupcakes on them. They are so detailed. I won't be using them for measuring. Probably just for decoration.

I got Debbie a windshield scraper. Yes, wh0 doesn't have a windshield scraper? That's what I thought too. Debbie didn't. She was out scraping the snow of her windshield with a box she found in her car. But I guess we don't all have cars that start with the remote though right???

Oh, and just a side note. Lost season 5 came out on DVD. I know exciting!

Day 16- Dec 9

Set up my snow village. It's on our window seal.

Don't think we're ghetto because we have a sheet hanging up in our window. Our blinds broke so they are wide open. So we hung up a sheet until we got new ones.

Day 15- Dec 10

Went visiting teaching and made our Christmas handouts for our Relief Society Christmas party.

25 Days of Christmas Days 25-20

I love Christmas time. It seems like I never enjoy it has thoroughly as I want to. So this year I have decided I am going to do something that relates to Christmas every day to enjoy this holiday Season. So here is my summary so far.

Day 25- Dec 1 Busted out Santa! I was planning on getting all of my decorations out, but I wasn't motivated enough. So I just got my Santa out.

I did listen to Christmas music all day.

The Hotel Cafe presents- Winter songs
Dustin Kensure- This Goodnight is still Everywhere

Reliant K- Let it Snow baby... Let it Reindeer
Maybe this Christmas Tree (Various Artists)

And, last but not least, Christmas with Weezer.

My Favorite Christmas CD would definitely have to be Dustin Kensrue's. I love it so much. I could listen to it over and over and over. He's the lead sing of Thrice. He also has another album called Please come home. Listen to it, It's great. I didn't love Reliant K, Let it snow baby... Let it reindeer. I suppose I shouldn't really have expected to since I don't like Reliant K's real stuff. But Christmas with Weezer was great. Weezer is pretty cool though.

I watched Mixed Nuts on Netflix Streaming instantly. It was the weirdest Christmas movie I've ever seen.

Day 24- Dec 2 Planned the Relief Society Christmas Party
Listened to:

Day 23-Dec 3 Went to the Beehive bazaar.
My camera phone cannot do justice how busy the Beehive Bazaar really was.

I got this shirt from The Beehive Bazaar.

When I got home I read "There was No Snow on Christmas Eve." We got this book from Tyler's Grandma and Grandpa Romney last Christmas.

Day 22- Dec 4 Tyler and I went out to Dinner, then Christmas movie Shopping. We bought and watched Home alone 2. Can you really go a year without watching Home Alone? Best Christmas movies ever. Although I did fall asleep watching it, I did finish watching it on Sunday.

Listened to:

Day 21- Dec 5 Went to Ellen's Christmas breakfast.

Came home and Watched Surviving Christmas, Then Elf. I m trying to watch as many Christmas movies as I can this season.

Later on that night my Mom and I went to the Holiday Home Show in Fairview. I love seeing other people's houses. Especially decorated for Christmas.

Listened to:

I obviously can listen to Dustin Kensrue every day. He's amazing.

We drove around and looked at Christmas lights that night as well.
Mapleton has the best Christmas lights. Is it just me or do not as
many people put up Christmas lights? When I was a kid we
use to drive around and look at Christmas lights, but it seems
like no one puts them up anymore. I told Tyler when we have a
house, our house will be decked out in Christmas lights.
I love how people put lights up the trees. Some people get them
so high up it's crazy.

New Moon + Thrice

At work I did New Moon Week to get ready for the Premiere. Everyday I did a handout, quote, and Activity. It was so fun. Last week was awesome.

Monday

A twizzler with a "blood" quote. It's the only quote I could find by googling. I was a little behind Monday.

Activity: New Moon Word Search

Tuesday

a glittery snowflake since Edward glitters in the s
un.
Wasn't this so appropriate for the first seen in New Moon??? I didn't even know it was going to be in the movie.

Activity: New Moon Word Scrambler

Wednesday

Conversation hearts... Because??? Jacob gave them to
her for her Valentines Day. And, the quote from Jacob.

Activity: New Moon Trivia (they ask questions at the premiere and give out gifts. We had to get prepared!)
And since I got everyone brushed up on their trivia, 2 out of the 9 people in our group won prizes. Me being one of them. I got an Alpine Home Health Bag, pencil, pen, notepad, New Moon Magazine and $5 gift card to the theater.

Thursday

Mini cupcake with blood drizzled on them for the day of the release. Since Bella gets a papercut, and blood runs down her arm when Edward throws her backwards. See? Totally appropriate.

Activity: New Moon Crossword Puzzle

Friday

A "blood sucker". I even colored them the color of blood. Sorry, The lighting is bad.

Activity- Match the Phrase to the Character

And Finally the Premiere. We went to The Payson Theaters. When we got there, there were a ton of people lined up for the midnight showing in the freezing cold. The people in the front of the line had been there since noon. Good thing they had Sleeping bags.

Oh- and New Moon was awesome! It was definitely better than Twilight. It had a bigger budget, and the directing was a lot better as well as the acting!. I do have a bone to pick. Why is everyone going Team Jacob just because Jacob busts out his six pack? I've heard, "Edward is a white pasty vampire and Jacob is tan and muscley." Well... Edward was also a white pasty vampire in the book if you don't recall. And everyone was Team Edward then. And we all know what happens at the end. Edward gets the girl. So I'll be sticking with Team Edward.

P.S. Jacob's face is not attractive.

All the Girls

And, I came home to Flowers from Tyler. Not once, But TWICE this week.
First two dozen roses on Wednesday.

Then, mini calla lilies on Friday

By the way, Tyler does work at a wholesale flower company. :)

Friday we wen to the Thrice Concert. The Lead guitarist Teppei had an emergency so the concert was kind of cut short. They just had different road techs bouncing in and out.

And... Drum roll please... Since I am now 21 we got to watch the concert from the balcony. So much better then down on the floor, no pushing. Minus the profane language I heard all night since the balcony is where all the drunks are. It was maybe a little entertaining.

Tyler's Birthday... Sick

Last Friday was Tyler's Birthday. He turned the big 2-3. Unfortunately Tyler was extremely sick so had quite a boring birthday. We had plans to spent his birthday with his family, but couldn't since he was so sick. And Gentlemen Broncos got put on hold. But he did get his Chocolate cream birthday pie from him Mom. He ended up missing basically an entire week of work. Finally we went to the Instacare and got some medication. He is A LOT better thank goodness. Happy Birthday! I love you Ty. You are the best! And the funniest person I know. I couldn't have married better.

Here's the cake my mom and I planned on making for him. It's on hold for now. Maybe until next birthday.

Halloween

So here are my Halloween Costumes for the year. I was Dwight for Halloween Bunko. I dyed the shirt myself, and altered the sleeves from long to short. Then, I sprayed brown in my hair. I tried to be in character for both Dwight and Jane.

And, Jane for work. I'll also be wearing this costume to the New Moon Premier. Isn't my cloak awesome? My Mom made it. For Jane being a vampire her legs are a lot tanner than mine. Maybe I'm the real Vamp.
