Back into the Office Season!!!

Well, last night was the first showing of the Office Season 5 Premeire, and let me tell you, it brought little to no disapointment. With one Exception. Jim and Pam. I hope they have some sort of turn around. They use to be so funny. Jim use to play tricks of Dwight, and have a little bit of fun. But now, he just acts like he's too cool for everyone. All Jim and Pam care about is eachother. It bugs me. But Jim did purpose in the Season 5 premiere. Some of my favorite things from the Office Premiere: 1. Dwight and Angela secretly sneak to a private room to "engage" in their affairs. Angela: "This in the last time Dwight, I mean it, I have a fiance who very much like."

2. Kelly bought a "tapeworm" off of Creed to loose weight; and

Ryan came and apologized to Kelly and He asked her to grab a drink after work. Kelly responded in saying, " Me and Daryl are dating and we are like crazy in love" but still continues to try to make him jealous.
3. Holly makes an excellent addition to the office cast. She's almost as dorky as Michael.

4. Ryan is still in the episodes, even after getting fired from corporate, Michael hired him back in replace of Pam.

Predictions

for the upcoming episodes:
1. Something will go wrong with Pam and Jim's relationship. I think Pam will cheat on Jim with her new boy friend from Art School.
2. Angela will dump Andy at their wedding.
3. Michael and Holly will persue a relationship.
4. Kelly and Ryan get back together.

Juno

No matter how many times I watch it, it never gets old. It is probably the best movie ever created.

Marzipan

It is getting near halloween and I need to start early to insure that I am entirely prepared for the Halloween season. I have been on a hunt for cute Halloween Recipes. I was looking in the Country Living magazine when I came across this picture.
The stems are made out of Marzipan which is a confection consisting primarily of sugar and Almond meal.

I also found a recipe for marzipan on Pickypalate:

Marzipan

8 ounces almond paste

2 cups icing sugar
3 to 5 tablespoons light corn syrup

1.To make the marzipan combine the almond paste and 1 cup of the icing sugar in the bowl of an electric mixer and beat with the paddle attachment on low speed until sugar is almost absorbed.

2.Add the remaining 1 cup of sugar and mix until the mixture resembles fine crumbs.

3.Add half the corn syrup, then continue mixing until a bit of the marzipan holds together when squeezed, adding additional corn syrup a little at a time, as necessary: the marzipan in the bowl will still appear crumbly.

4.Transfer the marzipan to a work surface and knead until smooth.

Soo.... I went on a hunt for Marzipan, or Almond Paste. I went the Bosch store, they didn't have it. They told me it would be at a grocery store. Well... I couldn't find it at Maceys that night either.

The next day Hailie and I went to Maceys, Unfortunately I forgot my wallet at home friday. So Hailie got some marzipan and almond paste.

Andrew: What are you going to use this for?

Hailie:" I don't know, Mandy pressured me into buying it, I told her I would come back later but she said, "no just get it now".

Well, little did I know, Marzipan is awesome.

We have, a Marzipan Monster

Marzipan Pigs

Even, this Marzipan Baby.

Honestly, I don't think I would want to eat the Marzipan baby after hours of molding and shaping it. Plus, it has hair. So, I don't think that I am going to make something that advanced. But, I am going to make the awesome pumpkins cakes with marzipan stems. That's more on my level.

Hawaii shoes...

I went to Hawaii when I was in the first grade... So I was like 7 right? I got this exact pair of shoes probably in a size 2 or something. Well being 7, little did I know that I would need a size 8 for later in life. Probably about 5 pairs of them to last me for a few years. By that time, I would have someone I knew going to Hawaii so I could have them get me a pair. They were my favorite shoes then, but I grew out of them and who knows where they went??? Well sometimes I will see these shoes at random stores. For example, The Quilted Bear. But there is always something wrong with them that persuade me not to buy them. The Quilted Bear ones had the melted seam right down the middle of the straps. That's not going to work. And they can't be black either. They have to be the weird brown colored ones. Hawaii makes the best ones. My sister-in-law Laura has a pair, which made me remember how much I like them. Then I borrowed her shoes for a day. And now I NEED a pair.
Well, I HAVE BEEN SAVED. Jessie, Tyler's little sister moved out to Hawaii to go to school. So... I guess you can say I reminded her around 10 times to not forget to get me some Hawaii shoes while she is out there. So basically, my wish has been fulfilled.

I need to cut my hair

So... I think I should probably cut my hair.
Anyways. My Hair is getting too long and drab. I need to spice it up. So I am thinking I should cut my hair like this Rihanna's to the right. It is super cute. I've always had long hair. We'll see if I dare cut it this short.
